Amber Wilson '10

My name is Amber Wilson and I hope to represent the class of 2010 in the next academic year as a student senator. I feel that there is a sad lack of student participation in ECOS and I want to provide a medium through which students can become truly involved in their government. If elected, I intend to bring ECOS to the students by publicizing the actions and events that ECOS sponsors and asking for student input on vital issues that affect the campus. I want students to feel like they are an integral part of the decision making process for all major happenings here at Eckerd. As a senator, I hope to demonstrate that ECOS is here for the students and working for them. Student input on any matter is always appreciated and sought after. I will always make myself readily available to discuss any issues of concern with any student. I also want to aid student clubs in meeting their own personal goals by distributing funds appropriately in order to maximize student benefit. I will always keep the best interests of my class at heart and ensure that all decisions made will be for the betterment of the college as a whole.
