ECOS is proud to announce the final installment of the SO HOT Awards (Students and Organizations Honored for Outstanding Things) for the Fall Semester of 2007. The winner will have their name put on a plaque in Triton's Pub, and all honorees will receive a T-Shirt which can be picked up in the Campus Activities office.

Our winner this month is Lowry Gilbert, one of the coordinators of the Eckerd Recycling program, President of the Sustainable Campus TaskForce, and member of the Ultimate Frisbee team. Congratulations Lowry!

Also recognized this month are our honorable mentions, including:

  • Ben Burke, recently named a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar
  • The regional-award-winning Eckerd Ethics Bowl team: (Captain Maria Campbell, Kelli Barr, Greg Stevens, Danielle DiPietro, Catee Baugh and Coach Scott Hale) ***Special thanks to ASPEC Coaches Naomi and Leonard Block, Bob Shepherd and Professor Dan Fredericks***
