Afro-American Society (AAS)
The objective of the Afro-American Society is to establish and maintain communication between all students of Eckerd College so as to alleviate undue tension and misunderstanding. The Afro-American Society will enable students to act as an effective force to combat racism. The Afro-American Society will create a community of political, social, and academic awareness and to make black students and the Eckerd community aware to the educational and cultural offerings at Eckerd College. The Afro-American Society will assist in the creation of a college community that will become aware of the culture of Black people and increase the responsiveness of Eckerd College to the Black Community at large.

International Student Association (ISA)
The objective of this club shall be to promote cultural diversity at Eckerd College and improve the social life on campus. The International Student Association shall facilitate this objective through member meetings, events such as international parties, ASPEC meetings and the Festival of Cultures.

Japanese Culture Club
The purpose of this group is to create a place for students who have an interest in Japanese Culture and other social occurrences to meet and explore this great culture. Activities will include, but are not limited to; group discussions, film viewings, exploring local Japanese cultural sites, and starting a speaking partner program for language exchange with some of the native Japanese students on campus.

Multicultural Dance Club
Our purpose is to enrich a cultural knowledge of music and dance to the Eckerd College community by teaching and learning dances from around the world and performing at various Eckerd College functions.

EC Pride
The primary objective of this club is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students, those questioning and exploring their sexualities, and their heterosexual allies. The club shall serve as a meeting place where students of all sexual orientations can interact safely and creatively; in doing so, they will learn from one another and work together to make the community a safer place for all students. The club shall also serve to educate the Eckerd College community on sexual minority issues and to promote visibility and respect for people of all sexual identities.
