Clubs & Organizations

There are over 90 student-run clubs at Eckerd that range from feeding the homeless to appreciating Harry Potter. The complete list of clubs is found below and more detailed information can be found using the category links in the left menu. The clubs are organized in the following categories:

If you don't see a club you want…form a new one. Clubs are allocated money for expenses each Spring and Fall Semester, but you can charter a club at any point of the academic year. In addition, funding for specific expenditures is available through the ICV (Independent and Collaborative Ventures) Fund – ICV petitions are available on the bulletin board outside the ECOS office. Additionally, Club Fair is hosted each semester so that students can browse and learn about the many clubs, their purpose and sponsored activities.

Questions and concerns should be discussed directly with the ECOS Club and Organization Intern, at 727.864.8973. It is also important for club leaders to maintain contact with the Department of Campus Activities. Essential paperwork, upcoming deadlines, meeting notices, etc. are placed in club mailboxes located near the Campus Activities Office in Brown Hall, giving club members and officers a perfect opportunity to touch base.
